Oh and one more thing!

I can burn spaghetti. I didn't know that.

I completely forgot I was cooking. I had the ground beef cooking also and made extra for burritos tomorrow night. You know what? I left it on too and it's all crunchy now. 1.5 lbs of ground beef. Wasted.

I think we'll go out for dinner tomorrow.

Lately

I haven't had much time to blog. Or do anything really. Look how many kids were over at my house today. I'm surprised I can even think straight enough to type this out.

Won't Be Long!

I've sort of neglected my mini garden. So I went to check on it and see what was going on out there. It doesn't look too shabby! See the yellow flowers on my tomato plants?

How 'bout now?
A view from the top. It's almost time to make a fence around them or get something to hold them up. (except for the runt in the middle. )
Do you see my bell peppers? Me either.
This is where we planted a watermelon seed. It sprouted, but that was about it. I miss having a big garden.

WFD

I'm having one of my favorite meals tonight. Teriyaki chicken, steamed rice, sauteed squash and steamed broccoli. YUM!!!

Pictures

If you want to see some pictures I've taken, head over to my other blog and check it out. Several people have mentioned not noticing the link on my side bar so I thought I'd post about it to let you know it's there. How nice of me, huh?

Check it out!

Yoga

Did I ever show you the pictures of my trying out yoga? Well, there was probably a reason. Like I'd be embarrassed. But today, I don't care if I look like a dork. My headache is GONE. I got some painting done and now I'm in a good mood. So here you go. Enjoy!

I did it!

My Husband Rocks!

I'm not feeling well today, so I'm keeping this short.
Jarrett rocks because he's coming home early and he's going to get a few things done around the house. I can't wait!! When he's home, I'll have some help with the kids and maybe my head will stop hurting.

What year do you belong in?

Katy Lin at The Great Adventure took some quizzes and reminded me that they're out there. I used to take them all the time. And totally forgot that they have a link to blogs. So here's the one I took today. It sounds about right. I graduated in 94 and in 96 I got married and had Kyndal. Those were good times.

You Belong in 1996

With you anything goes! You're grunge one day, ghetto fabulous the next. It's all good!

An Award!!

Oh yay!! I'm SO excited!! *see all the exclamation points?* The lovely Staci has given me and award!! I love her blog and I'm so glad I came across it. I should be giving HER the award.

So, take a look at this...

Isn't it cool?? Thank you so much for thinking of me!!

I guess we're not positive on the rules, but we're following these guidelines.

1. Post your award in a blog and on your sidebar as a widget.

2. Pass the award onto at least 5 other bloggers that you admire or respect that are Edgy, Bold, Modern, Unique , Humorous or all of the above, with links to their sites and to the site of the awarder :).

3. Make sure to describe why it is you admire these particular bloggers.

So here goes.

*Shel- Shel is such a fun, loving mother. She posts some funny stuff that I almost fall out of my chair reading. She is such a wonderful mother to her four children. I know how hard that can be sometimes. But she does it and finds the fun in all of it. I love you, Shel!

*Antoinette- Even though she won't repost this or do anything with it. I'm going to give her the award because she is ONE TALENTED MAMA! And SMART! She makes the cutest bows I've ever seen. And the clothes she makes are adorable and so well made. (see Little Bee's Boutique) I love buying things from her. I just wish I had money to buy more. HA!! AND she has the cutest little kiddos and I just love her whole family.

*Brattt- And yet another talented Mama that I admire. She can take some really good pictures of the yummy food she makes. My mouth is watering thinking about it. She's very much into her kids and having fun with the family. I'd love for her to bake me a cake and decorate it. She's got all the skills I wish I had. Love her and I've never met her.

*Amanda Jo- This lady amazes me. She's so friendly and welcoming. AND FUN! I just started venturing out into the blog world and I found so many wonderful women through her. She's been so nice to stop by and acknowledge me even though my blog is sort of boring... she still keeps up. Her love of the Lord shines through in her posts. I just love to read everything she writes.

*Tracy Joy- I don't know her personally as I just found her this past week. BUT this is another very talented Mom. Have you seen her camera bags? I want one SO bad. I'm going to start selling on Ebay again soon, just so I can get one. I've been looking for a trendy, girly camera bag and I finally found them on her site. She's awesome with the camera too. I've been looking at her blog every day since I found her. Almost stalking her. Scary. LOL
So there you have it.
Thanks again Staci!

Almost Forgot!

This is what Karly got to do today while the big kids went with Daddy.

Exploring With Daddy

The kids went exploring again today. I haven't heard any cool stories yet. They've been too busy playing since they got home. I have no idea where they went or if they found anything interesting. All I have are these pictures from the camera I sent with Jarrett.

Pictures From The Drive In

I was getting my camera ready to go and Karly asked me to take her picture. What's up with that? She never wants me to take a picture of her. No, I didn't pose her.

(clip on earrings, lips aka lip gloss, sunglasses and a ring) She's ready to go!
This is a typical picture of my kids. Nobody is looking at me.
They kept finding rubber bands on the ground. See Caleb's wrist? Those are all the green ones he found.
Snuck up on her.
Kyndal hiding out in the van with her Daddy. He's always got the chocolate.
Connor was putting all of his rubber bands together to make a ball. It ended up being a pretty big ball. Too bad I didn't get a pic of that.
I wish this one was clearer.

Movie Review

Opening night, we went to see it. Just couldn't wait till dvd.
I'm just gonna give you my opinion on it. There may be spoilers, so beware!
(pictures from Google)

First of all, Heath Ledger, may he rest in peace... was just OK. I was expecting so much more. But actually, his character grossed me out the whole time. He smacks and licks his lips all through the movie. ICK.
There was a LOT of violence. I usually like all the Batmans, Spidermans, action type movies, but this one made me uncomfortable. I wish I hadn't taken the kids. And The Dark Knight wasn't as good as the previous ones. In my opinion. I'm not saying it was bad just not at all as good as I hoped.

*yes I know it's surely not Batmans and Spidermans but that's how I want to say it, so skip over it if it bothers you*

Morgan Freeman did a good job. I just love him and his character made a few jokes I got to laugh at.

The Joker is left hanging from a building then they do some other scenes and the movie ends. So what the heck happened to the Joker? I don't like when they do that stuff. They could have had a stunt man come in and at least look like something else happened with him. I just know the last place I saw him was hanging from the building.

If you're not big on the super hero movies, don't bother going to this one. But if you just gotta see it, I'd say wait till you can watch it at home and save some $.

From My Magnet Buddy!

This time around, Colleen had me. She did SO good sticking with the theme. Unlike myself. I just couldn't find anything Spring/Summer. Look how cute this is!! I don't know when we're going to swap magnets again, but I'm going to start shopping NOW.

Thanks so much, Colleen! I love it!!

My Husband Rocks!!!!

If you haven't already, you need to go on over to Katy Lin's blog and sign up for My Husband Rocks Friday. It's so important to think of the good things. I tell you what, since I've started this my opinion of Jarrett has improved. Not that I thought lowly of him, but I did tend to think of the negative rather than the positive. Thanks Katy Lin!!

And today, I'll show you why my husband rocks!!

He knows I've been needing a new computer and he got me one! He saves up scrap pieces of copper wire after jobs (He's an electrician) and then burns the insulation off and sells it. He did that yesterday and spent a large amount of the money he made on this....

HP Touchsmart

And basically, we got it for free, but still... he could have saved the money or gotten himself some new tools for work. I'm REALLY glad he didn't. HAHA!!!

Thank you, Jarrett for thinking of me before yourself. And always trying to do things that you know will make me happy. I appreciate my new, super cool, huge screen computer!!!!
