Memorial Day

Today we went to the lake to ride the jet skis. It's the first time for us to go this summer. It was kind of windy out and the wind felt cool to me, so I didn't go out in the water. Maybe next time.

I always get a picture of her hair going crazy. Well, this is it from today. hehe
Jarrett had to get the jet ski ready. It hasn't been used in a long time and needed some work. The other jet ski didn't work at all. That was a bummer. Kyndal likes the broken one better than Jarrett's. So she didn't even ride today.

First time out this year, and having a blast!!!
Karly doesn't care what she does, as long as she gets to do something!
Today was also Libby's first time at the lake. I think it was too cool outside for her too. Once she got wet, she shivered until she was dry. Poor pup!

When Connor and Jarrett came back, Jarrett sat Karly on the jet ski and pushed her out away from him. He probably thought she'd freak like our other kids did at her age, but she didn't. She turned around and asked for the keys. HAHAHA!!
Looks like she's riding by herself, NO she's not. Silly!
Wave to Mama...

Connor drug Caleb out to the deep part. Caleb fighting the whole way. Come to find out, Caleb did a pretty good job swimming back. (AND he could reach the bottom in the part they thought was 'so' deep.)

Kalry got her birthday presents from Peepaw and Jamie. I can't even name everything that was in that bag. Some cute stuff though.
Peepaw is holding her cross necklace. She loves it!

We left the lake after a few hours, then rode around in the country to get home. Checking out new places and stopping on every crickety bridge to freak Mama out. @@

Then when we got home, Karly wanted to play with the sprinkler ball and Jarrett cooked us some yummy burgers on the grill.
That's a cool ball/sprinkler!!

She learned how to aim it.


Everyone was in bed tonight by 8:15. Except for me. I'm determined to keep you all informed on what's going on around here and share my pictures with you. Am I sweet or what? hehe
