WHAT???!!!????????

OMG!!! Click here for the article or just read what I c/p. lol

Oil recently hit an all-time high of nearly $120 a barrel, more than double its early 2007 price of about $50 a barrel. It closed Friday at $118.52.
The forecasts calling for a jump to between $7 and $10 a gallon are based on the view that the price of crude is on its way to $200 in two to three years.
Translating this price into dollars and cents at the gas pump, one of our forecasters, the chairman of
Houston-based Dune Energy, Alan Gaines, sees gas rising to $7-$8 a gallon. The other, a commodities tracker at Weiss Research in Jupiter, Fla., Sean Brodrick, projects a range of $8 to $10 a gallon.

I need to save up for a horse. Or 5.

Yikes!

That is just nuts and insane.

I read about the price per barrell going up, so I was pleased that gas went DOWN ten cents from yesterday when I went to get gas today. I still paid $3.41 a gallon. I can't imagine paying $7 a gallon. We would never be able to go anywhere. And Buses aren't any better...because they raised the cost up to like $2 per person per ride...that would be $20 round trip every time I wanted to go somewhere. Which, with my schedule of appointments, would be more than gas money. KWIM? Crazy. Something has got to give, or everyone will delcare bankruptcy, etc.

Hmm yeah now I'm glad I bought those bikes. But yeah, in the event gas got that high, we'd have horses too. LOL
