The New Pool

Karly's little pool from the last couple of years was ruined, so I decided to get her another. Our yard is just too shaded to have our big pool up, which stinks. I figured the big kids would like to at least get wet in one with Karly. So we just got another small pool.

Ooh! A Night Out!

Jarrett just called me and told me he got me a ticket. Ok. To what? Well, he's been doing the electrical work for Willie's Place. It's been a long, long job. LOL But at the end of the month, they are having a concert. He has to be there cause he's the electrician. I guess in case something doesn't work right? And I get to go! Woohoo! He couldn't talk long, but he did say a few names. Willie Nelson (not fond of), Bonnie Raitt(eh) and, you ready??? Merle Haggard! YAY!! Merle Haggard!!! I can't wait. I need a babysitter and a cowboy hat!

***After looking in to it some more, umm... I don't know who all is going to be there. I was hoping for Merle Haggard, like Jarrett told me, but from what I've seen it's just going to be Willie Nelson. Big WOO. We'll see though. Maybe it'll be fun anyway.***

Mondays (Just Rambling)

Are good. Most of the time. Today my wrist is almost back to normal. Thanks for the prayers. They worked! (we knew that already, huh?) Now, if I could just kick this cold I'd be REAL happy.
Now for what we've done today. Not much.
We went to town to take Jarrett his phone charger. Then stopped by Wal Mart for some garden soil. Of course, I left with more than just garden soil. As usual. I got a small pool for the kids to get wet in. Came home to air it up and our air pump went out. Soooo, all of the kids are taking turns blowing it up. What FUN! I'm sure I'll be out there taking pictures of them later.
I replanted my tomatoes and bell peppers. I'm not sure if they'll survive or not. I hate that I didn't get my garden I wanted this year.
My house is a wreck. I used to be such a clean freak and now, I can't even get myself motivated. When I do get in the mood to clean, I get it all nice and it lasts for a day, then it's back to junky. Anybody want to come go through my stuff? You can have whatever you want. Seriously, I think we have WAY too much stuff.
Oh, and Caleb mowed part of the backyard today. It's SO nice having boys that want to help. I know they won't want to help in a few years, so I'll use them now, while I can. hehe
For lunch we had The Wall. Yum! They have the best egg rolls EVER. The boys don't care for Chinese food so I took them and Karly to Burger King. Which is a treat. I guess. I really don't like feeding them fast food like that. I guess once in a while is ok though. We'll have to make up for it tonight for dinner.
Speaking of dinner.... I think we'll have this stew type stuff my mom makes. It's made with smoked sausage, french style grean beans and potatoes. I LOVE it. I think we'll fry up some corn bread too. I'm also going to make a veggie tray with some ranch dip. While I was at Wal Mart, I got some cute little dipping cups. Or sauce cups. I don't know what to call them. Now we can fill our plates with veggies and have the dip on the side. Little things excite me.

Father's Day

The grandparent's called and wanted the kids to come visit them. Jamie came to get them around 10- 10:30. Jarrett was working so I had the house to myself for a little while. NICE. He came home around noon and we went to look at a couple of houses. Both were junkers. Figures right? The one's we can afford are always icky. Then we came home and took a nap. Got up and went to eat at Campuzano's and then picked up the kids.

I sent my camera with Kyndal so I could have some pictures of their visit.

We got there to pick them up and nobody seemed happy to see us. LOL! Even Karly, who normally screams "MAMA!!" or "DADDY!", just said, "I don't want to go home right now" Bummer.

Jamie had taken them to Target and Kyndal finally got a camo shirt. For exploring. She's excited!

You see, Caleb was messing with him, I think with a rubber band. So Jarrett started the thumping thing. He thumps, and my gosh, it hurts. LOL But they WERE JUST PLAYING.

See that couch? I want it. It's sooo cushy! And brown. Love it! My couch is brown too, but underneath the brown is a very light cream color. HAHA!!

Been Sick

I've been sick all week. Not sure if it's just a head cold or allergies, but whatever it is, is annoying. And my wrist had been hurting a little for about a week, maybe two. I assumed it was arthritis or something from when I was doing all that gymnastics as a kid. My wrist used to hurt every once in a while back then. But now, I'm thinking it's carpal tunnel. UGH. It woke me up in the middle of the night it hurt so bad. I went and got a brace and that's helping a LOT at night time. But during the day it's a pain. Even the smallest things hurt it. I can't open a coke bottle, the door knob or carry a bottle of water with my left hand. I have no insurance, so I won't be going to the doctor. If anyone knows how long this pain will last, let me know. I'm ready for it to be GONE.
