Incredible Hulk

Today we just laid around and studied and rested. I took a nap even. Then we went to the drive in to see Incredible Hulk. It was ok. I hate how they end movies and you still have questions. But it was fun. We pulled up next to the dork squad. There were about 12 nerds chit chatting and sitting in their lawn chairs. They were great entertainment before the movie. I had to take Karly to the bathroom and Jarrett says I missed the best part. They were playing hacky sack and one would kick it to someone and it would go way over their head, so the guy would run to get it, then kick it way over the other's head. And they did that back and forth, over and over.


I was hoping to go see Kung Fu Panda cause the kids really want to see that. Maybe we will next time. I'm pretty sure Caleb wants to go there for his birthday, for now. That may change as it gets closer. LOL

Camping

Kyndal and Reagan have been wanting to camp out in the backyard for a week now. I told them to wait until Jarrett didn't have to wake up for work the next day. Just in case they decided to get up in the middle of the night and come in to the air conditioning and wake people up. HAHA! I didn't think they'd make it all night, but they did.

They pretty much set the tent up themselves too. Man, they are growing up. I didn't think they'd be able to do that either. Guess I should give them some credit huh?

Kia's House

Kia and I go WAY back. I've known her for gosh, ever. When I first moved to Italy, she lived here and we hung out a LOT. Then she moved to Waxahachie. Now she's back and has been for a while and I hadn't been to see her except one time to drop something off. So I decided to invite myself over to hang out. I had to take pictures of her cuties!

Here's Lilyana, always with a smile. She's the happiest baby I've ever seen. For real.

And here's Brody. Such a cutie!!
And my man, Colton. I can't believe how big he is. I used to babysit him when he was little. He's just a few months older than Caleb.
I had a good time visiting her and will probably try to get over there more often. It's nice to have a friend in town.

I decided to start playing with Photoshop again. There's so much on there that I don't know how to do. I picked this picture to mess with. I like the way it turned out, but still like the original the best.

Exploring & Playing At The Park

How 'bout I start with exploring?

The kids have been asking to go exploring for weeks. Jarrett takes them and I stay with Karly. Sounded good to me. HAHA! So they went. From what I hear they had a great time. The only thing I don't like about it, is they never have pics or video of all the things they see/do. They found buffalo bones and teeth. We know this because of the internet. They brought them home then looked it all up. They were very excited!! (no pics)

Another thing that happened is... you ready?? Jarrett let Kyndal drive his truck. Again NO PICS. Darn it! I would've loved to have seen that!! It was her first time. She was afraid of wrecking. HAHA! But they were just in an old field and the only thing out there was corn. Silly girl!

They come home with some great stories. Next time I'm sending one of my camera's with them.

While they were gone, I cleaned the house and took Karly to a park nearby. It's one we've never been to. But there was NO shade, it was smoking hot, and after about 15 minutes, Karly was ready to leave and beat me to the van. LOL

I DID get pics of that.

She loved the monkey bars. They were the only thing that wasn't too hot, or too hard.

The seesaw was cool! I haven't seen a park with one of those in a long time. I wish I was brave enough to get on it with her, but I was parnoid that it would come down on her feet. So I stood there pushing the other end down and letting it go back up really slow. I remember hurting my feet on those as a kid.
And here she is beating me to the van. I love her new dress and flip flops!!
